Skein is a platform for hiring a small team of AI agents that work together on your business. Each agent has one specialty — inbox, daily brief, sales outreach, or LinkedIn drafting — and you run between one and four of them in formation. Skein is built for solo operators and small teams.
Skein ships fully configured agents with specific jobs — you don't build the agent, you hire it. CrewAI, Relevance AI, and n8n are workflow builders where you supply the agent design, prompts, and tool wiring. Skein trades flexibility for time-to-value: most users have a working agent within 15 minutes of signup.
Skein requires zero code. Setup is a guided wizard: connect your Gmail or Outlook, paste a few sentences about how you work, and the agent is live. Customization stays in plain text in the Settings tab — no config files, no YAML.
A Skein agent team can triage your inbox three times a day (Wren), deliver a ranked morning brief on the topics you track (Warbler), draft cold outreach in your voice (Hawk), and write LinkedIn posts that sound like you (Mockingbird). Conductor routes any question to the right agent.
